Covid cases continue to dip in Teignbridge

COVID cases have dipped again in Teignbridge, although eight people have died in the past week.

Between March 29 and April 4, 1,338 people had a confirmed positive test result. This shows a decrease of -24.3% compared to the previous seven days.

However, between the same dates there have been eight deaths in Teignbridge within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test.

The Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust reports that between 21 March 21 and 27, 79 went into hospital with coronavirus. This shows a decrease of -2.5% compared to the previous seven days.

There were 71 patients in hospital with coronavirus on March 29, none of them was on a mechanical ventilator.
