The firefighters say: ‘Following intensive training by the team we have now taken ownership of our new Medium Rescue Pump (MRP) which means that we now have extra capability to deal with incidents, we now have a larger ladder reaching to 13.5m, specialist stabilisation equipment and airbags for road traffic collisions, a portable pump to access remote water supplies, a positive pressure ventilation fan for smoke clearance during and after fires, better hosereel jets and lots more.
