Newton Abbot Town Council discussed the application this week, when, in the public participation section, resident Mark Young reminded councillors that Whitehill Road had been permanently closed to traffic in 2019, a move which had been previously supported by councillors Phil Bullivant, Mike Hocking and Jackie Hooke (then Brodie).
